Fun T-shirts That Say Things For Me

All day every day I write real stuff. Today I write fun stuff! While sitting at the table looking thru a catalog I started reading fun tshirt slogans that after a while not only made a point but say things for me that I think and wish I could say to people all the time. As a parent and respectable (although debatable) member of my community I can’t go around wearing certain slogans as much as I would like to. I can however think them which brought me to a point where I wanted to share some of them with you. Maybe a grin, maybe a snicker, maybe a little hint of sarcasm or maybe just a fun t-shirt that will say something to you too. Here’s a few that stood out:

Don’t act stupid – We have politicians for that
Now that food has replaced sex in my life I can’t even get in my own pants
Keep working – millions on welfare depend on you
I’d tell you to go to Hell, but I work there and don’t want to see you every day
They lied! Hard work has killed lots of people
(in very small print) Nosey little sucker, aren’t you?
Well behaved women rarely make history
Save the trees, wipe your butt with an owl
Police officer – our job is to save you’re a$ not kiss it!
I know right from wrong, wrong is the fun one
Not perfect but so close it scares me
God must love stupid people because He made a lot of you
Due to the energy crisis the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off
So this Irishman walks out of a bar…no really, it can happen!
Yes that is a pistol in my pocket
I’ve got your stimulus package right here (insert arrow down)
Let me guess – your parents are cousins
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail…but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, “Damn…that was fun!”

My absolute favorite is this one:
Home of the free, because of the brave

Okay, so this is not my usual deep and thought provoking post that you usually read here on Topic Island. I just needed a little grin. PG rated grin, so I thought as I was reading thought provoking shirts that make me think why not ask the readers to put up their best little slogans that they have worn or seen and share with us all. How many times have you wished you were wearing a shirt like the ones above for the royal idiot that did something stupid and you just wanted to say it but not out loud. How many times do you think about that tshirt that your old girlfriend took or the t-shirt you wished you had bought that said it like it is. I had to laugh out loud (or LOL for those of you into texting) when I read some of these and some of the R rated ones I didn’t put on our clean little site. It’s a family thing. Ask Rickhead or read one of our parenting posts. With age comes responsibility to set a good example for my children. Hence I’m not supposed to wear tshirts like these or at least not in front of them. I have one my wife had made for me to wear on my first Father’s Day, ‘NO FEAR, Dad of twins’. T-shirts are everywhere and online but there are a few favorite shopping spots I like for that special one of a kind t-shirt, and there are others that are similar. I will always like my Hard Rock Café t-shirts, my Harley tshirts, my original concert t-shirts from the sixties, seventies and eighties. I will always like a plain black, white, navy or grey t-shirt as it is a clean simple look that works for a clean simple guy like me. At the end of a long day I just thought a little smile for a little t-shirt that says something fun was worth sharing. We would love to hear some of your PG rated fun sayings or shirt slogans, thus inspiring us all to say what we mean and mean what we say, even if we are not wearing it.

I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in composing this article. I am going for the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your fanciful writing abilities has prompted me to start my own blog now. Actually the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up is a fine example of it.
